Kanda Chosen For Human-Computer Interaction Project by ACM

We are proud to announce that The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) has chosen Kanda again to be their development partner. This time we’ll be working on a large-scale development project for the ACM Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction (ACM SIGCHI). ACM SIGCHI is the premier international society for professionals, academics, and students who are interested in human-technology and human-computer interaction (HCI). Our focus will be on helping SIGCHI with automating processes for greater efficiency and improved member experience.

Specifically, the Kanda team will help SIGCHI automate importation processes on their website, including the ACM digital library, SIGCHI’s YouTube channel, and their social media channels. Kanda will also enable SIGCHI to port communities and chapters over to their new site (SIGCHI.ORG). Additionally, Kanda developers will automate member outreach emails and use recommender systems architecture to provide a personalized member experience on any device including mobile.

This project is broad in scope and will roll out over several months, tapping into the expertise of multiple Kanda team members who are experienced in QA, software architecture, software engineering, UI/UX, various programming languages and mobile app development. Kanda was chosen because of our strong internal references within ACM and our prior experience with other high-profile nonprofits. We are proud to be selected by an organization that is on the leading edge of current practice and research that is shaping the present and the future of HCI.

If you’d like to learn more about how Kanda can help accelerate development for your business, please reach out to us. We look forward to talking with you.
